Logitech g hub reddit11/11/2023 ![]() ![]() Here are the minidumps from the other pc: !AlIE3vqqC9biq35VnMmKO5w_mUVM?e=vNtazVįirst post on here, so my apologies if I did something wrong. Here are the minidumps from the PC that was running g hub on startup: !AlIE3vqqC9biq3pCfXCLlHfoHpVR?e=aLI5J9 On both PCs, the device manager indicates the driver for the mouse was published by Microsoft in 2006 (2.1), so it doesn't look like they are using anything from logitech. Not sure how to get these things as stable as possible as soon as possible, but that's what I'm after. However, without running Driver Verifier, we were both getting BSODs at a much lower rate while running G Hub. The obvious answer is, don't use G hub, which would kind of suck, because I want to be able to control the LEDs, mouse buttons, dpi, and other mouse settings easily. The result was a BSOD as ghub was launching (again Driver Verifier is still running on this PC, but it is far more stable because g hub wouldn't launch on start up). On the PC that wasn't crashing, the LED colors (also on a G502 Hero mouse) were the default ones, which made me wonder what would happen if I turned G Hub on on that PC. This PC that would crash very quickly had logitech g hub set to start on start-up and the LED colors on the G502 Hero mouse indicated it was running. I turned off the Driver Verifier, and the problem seemed to be logi_joy_vir_hid.sys and HIDCLASS.SYS. But it never seemed to last more than a minute after logging into windows before BSOD. Sometimes it would get stuck before then. On the other PC, it was getting a BSOD shortly after logging into windows. Then I ran Windows Driver Verifier, and was not having any problems on one PC. I used Driver Booster 7 to quickly update all of my drivers. So I ran the extended Windows Memory Diagnostics and no problems were discovered. The common issue that kept popping up seemed to be a problem with ntoskrl.exe. When I first started getting the BSOD, I used BlueScreenView to view the Minidump files. Windows 10 Home no updates available as of writing this. Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4 with the latest BIOS (P3.60) Webcam's anything that has a real cmos sensor because lets face it they all seem to be made about the same anymore. Background: I just built two identical PCs and both are getting BSODS, and it seems highly likely the issue is related. For now I would say spring for headsets sennheiser cant be beat.yeti makes good mics.keyboards I have always loved corsair k95 or if you can deal with no RGB IBM model M. ![]() It seems like they team that makes the drivers and the team that makes the software are two worlds apart and it is very apparent in the performance department. They use to make good products and solid drivers with decent software. It has cost me a serious amount of time and man hours not to mention service calls to clients houses or to my shop. I have decided after I get my next headset, I and all my customers and gaming team will no longer buy their products due to this issues. Ghub software has its seizure at what seems like rng rates. I seriously miss the old LGS software because it was crap too.but it was consistent and easy to know what you did to make it freak out or crash. The issues when you try and reproduce a scenario is nearly impossible most of the time as you would have to constantly monitor memory or have some debug utility watching the process 24/7 to catch it when it has a fit. Trying to make a report to send to Logitech is also a pain. It is like the software one either half crashes or flat resets to default when ever it likes. set macros or doing dpi maps I have given up and gone back to my razer because of this. Then having to swap audio devices or turn the headset off and back on is a flat pain in the ass. Anyone that has a g935 or similar all I have to say is try mute or simply raise your mic boom to mute while using any discord teamspeak etc, style program. While some people think its the beez knees.I miss the old software. I don’t think Logitech really cares about the GHub gaming experience. My biggest issue is that when I try to get help from Logitech it’s a co start run around if things that don’t fix the issues. That being said… when it works it’s incredible. Which is why I’m guessing Logitech discontinued the product. Being from lighting, sound preferences, connection issues… you name it. Good lord it’s nothing but consistent issues. The G502 works except that the DPI randomly changes on me while in game. For the keyboard the lights on it will go dark after a few minutes of inactivity no matter what setting I use and it constantly changes what setting it uses. It will randomly choose what display it wants to sample from which is annoying. For example, screen sampler for all devices in a computer with multiple displays is very inconsistent. For me it mostly comes with the light sync stuff. ![]()
